Authors - Tessa Hershberger Tessa Hershberger Author of Confessions of a Girl About the Author: Tessa Sean Hershberger is a high school senior. From outward appearance, she is the typical, involved, “A+” student, active in French Club, Class Treasurer, and a member of both the National Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. When she lost her hearing before her junior year, she formed a 40-member-strong sign language club at her high school. On the inside, however, she has been quietly observing the ways of her peers, slowly coming to terms with what so many girls living in her generation need to know. Although she remains attuned to her culture, possessing some of its very same values and morals, she has found a different and exciting path to follow. And one of her biggest passions in life is to invite all young women and girls to join her in this adventurous life.
